Validation and Process Engineer



In this role, you will manage, inspect, test, verify and validate the processing and filling equipment, and procedures used to manufacture liquid dairy products, juices, and non-alcoholic beverages. Your primary task is to ensure that all systems are running correctly and efficiently to produce high-quality products.


Duties will include but not limited to:

  • Identifying measures or indications of system performance and the actions needed to improve or correct performance, relative to the capabilities of the system

  • Design validation protocols for testing the systems used to manufacture products

  • Coordinates/oversees the development of new processes or troubleshoot existing ones

  • Conduct validation or qualification tests of new or existing processes, equipment, or software in accordance with internal protocols or external standards

  • Develop validation master plans, process flow diagrams, test cases, or standard operating procedures.

  • Prepare validation or performance qualification protocols for new or modified manufacturing processes, systems, or equipment

  • Create, populate, or maintain databases for tracking validation activities, test results, or validated systems.

  • Identify deviations from established product or process standards and provide recommendations for resolving deviations

  • Prepare detailed reports or design statements based on results of validation and qualification tests or reviews of procedures and protocols

  • Study product characteristics or customer requirements and confer with management to determine validation objectives and standards




  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering, manufacturing technology

  • Minimum of 2 years of validation experience is required

  • Strong technical knowledge and experience with validation/qualification of aseptic processes, filling and packaging equipment, cleaning, utilities, facilities and automated control systems as related to liquid milk and juice products

  • Good understanding of cost and benefits calculation

  • Knowledge of food processing operations and technology

  • High professional standards and strong work ethic

  • Native speaker with fluent written and verbal English
