Food Technologist

Role:

 

As a Food Technologist you will provide technical services for new product development activities. You will be part of our Product Development Centre and will play a crucial role in product formulations / BOM and product characterization.    


The position is located in our state of art manufacturing facility in VSIP II-A industrial park in Binh Duong province. In this role, you will be reporting to the Product Development Manager.  

 

Duties will include but not limited to:

  • Conducting product development work from desktop prototypes through scaling-up products and processes for commercialization 

  • Leading from technical perspective product development and product optimization, working in collaboration with project managers & the cross-functional teams from concept through commercialization of products, ensuring excellent communication

  • Leading multiple key projects and ensuring they meet project scope, launch time and flawless execution

  • Developing ingredient and formulation trial plans

  • Conducting trials, data collection and interpreting the results to drive program/project and technical knowledge forward, developing robust action plans, risk assessment and contingency planning

  • Partner internally and externally to source ingredients and to leverage vendor expertise in ingredient functionality

  • Implementing and advancing new research and development procedures & techniques

  • Accurately maintaining laboratory notebook and generating all required product documentation, including product specifications, formulation sheets, and SOPs

 

Requirements:

 

  • +3 years of previous work experience in Dairy or Beverage Industry

  • Academic degree within the area of Chemical Engineering, Food Technology, Chemistry, Biology or a similar area

  • Solid knowledge in Food Hygiene, Food Safety, HACCP, GMP, 5S, Continuous Improvement, Project Management, Manufacturing Process and Quality Systems

  • Knowledge in scaling up manufacturing processes

  • Trained sensory panellist
